Calvary greetings in Jesus’ name. We are delighted to bring you additional
good news about what God is doing on the frontier field across three of the
countries we are currently working on Niger Republic, Benin Republic and
Nigeria.
The Malikis, one of the beneficiaries |
At the Niger Republic, God provided the support of a cart, cow, and some other livestock for each of our five missionary couples to complement the upkeep allowance we pay them monthly. The beneficiaries are Garba and Alisabatu of Salkam mission field, Harouna and Aminatu Tienogo of Bankoula mission field, Emma and Blessing Boubaccar of Ahole mission field, Liman and Abiguel Danwauya of Tibiri mission field and Issa and Rahila Maliki of Kwalan-Gobirawa mission field. They hope to generate some additional income from the livestock/cart project.
At the Kwalan-Gobirawa mission field, the pledge to drill a borehole for the community was redeemed, and to the glory of God, the people now have good drinking water. Pray that the drinking water will effectively serve as an access ministry to raise additional disciples for Christ on this mission field. The field leader, Maliki, has requested that we join them in thanking God for this huge breakthrough. In less than one year, God blessed them with a church building, and the building was furnished; they held a very successful widows conference during which they distributed foodstuffs and new clothes for the people and now good drinking water.
Mission house built with mud blocks |
At Benin Republic, God has added to us an additional mission house to serve as a residential building for our missionaries at Tungan-Maidaji. The beneficiaries are Pastor Esther and Yakubu Ishaya. This need has stared at us for nearly two years, forcing the missionary couples to operate from a rented house at Libantee. Kindly join us in thanking God for the successful completion of the project and pray with us for funds to pay up outstanding expenses on the project that have not yet been paid for.
In Nigeria, among the Dukawas, the church project sponsored by one of our
partners is now at the lintel stage. The funds for this phase, plus the
post-lintel coaches, have been released to the missionaries in charge of the
project though it is difficult to get the bricklayers at this season because of
their farm work. Please pray with us that they will prioritize this project and
complete it.
The hunger across our mission fields is biting harder and harder. The ones in the Internally Displaced
Mangu IDP Camp |
Persons (IDP) camps are worse as the displaced persons cannot go to their farms because of the increased insecurity. God provided resources through our partner, Tabitha Arise Foundation, for us to visit the Mangu IDP camp recently, and it was such a great joy putting smiles on their faces. There were many persons, and we trust God to be able to do more than we did as soon as possible. Pray for TAF and their members for God’s blessings.

Termite-eaten electric pol e needed to be replaced |
We also urgently need to fix an electric concrete pole to serve our
immediate community. Each, including installation cost, is N150,000 ($116).
Termites have eaten up the wooden ones in use.
We have carried out fumigation as part of our fight against snakes and
scorpions at our Zarazong

mission base. We did it twice but need help to cover our numerous mission fields. Please pray for all our missionaries, their families, the orphans, and vulnerable kids in our care. This is the season of snake and scorpion. In the past, we have had missionaries and their children beaten by snakes, and one of our missionaries’ sons died. Affliction must not arise a second time.
Appreciation
Thank you so much for your partnership. God used you to partner with us to
advance God’s kingdom to the dark places of the earth, which is why we can do
this much. May God bless you for all your sacrifices.
