You are welcome to the month of June 2022. God has been very gracious to us. We trust that the month of June will be better than previous months and the Lord will bless you on all sides in Jesus' name, Thank you for your
moral, financial, and prayer support, especially during this challenging
season. God bless you richly. God has been very gracious to us, and we are
truly amazed at what God is doing in various mission fields. Many are embracing
the lordship of Jesus. The sick are being healed, and new churches are being
planted, more missionaries are being recruited and deployed, prospective
missionaries are being admitted into our School of Cross-Cultural Missions for
training. Below are some of the reports.
Pioneer Church Planting at Beru, Bauchi State and Bodoni, Benin Republic
Bobina church |
The Bodoni-Kamberis put
together a grass thatch house where they worship. With the heavy down, we prayed
to God for the fund to roof the church, and God used two individuals to provide
the resources. We are trusting God to raise the wall of the church soon.
At Beru, the land was provided free of charge, and God used one of our partners to provide resources for the building of the church. The church's foundation is already being built, and blocks have been supplied. Please, pray that God will bless the partner who single-handedly provided funds for the project.
Disciple-Making Movement
DMM) Implementation
With the successful training conference n DMM held in March 2022, we are currently at the implementation phase. Our missionaries at Ahole in the Niger Republic have used their access ministry to secure men of peace through whom two Discovery Bible Study groups have kick-started. The missionaries covet our prayers for the salvation of every member of the group. We have similar reports from other missionaries who participated in the training.
New Dukawa converts |
Sourcing from our
existing structures, the following persons have been appointed as Regional
Coaches. They are to collate the reports and discuss challenges with
implementations of the DMM with our DMM leader, Pastor Mike Adegbile. The
President of Final Command, James Forline, may also check n them directly for
feedback:
1. Liman Dan wauya and
Emma Boubacar for Niger Republic
2. Sunday Musa for Kebbi
and Niger State
3. Stephen Paul for
Benue State
4. Sayeri Mousa for the
Benin Republic
5. Yohanna Musa for
Bauchi State
Diaspora Missions
Our other cousins from
the core North of Nigeria are spreading towards the Middle Belt and southeast
region via the means of commerce. They are taking advantage of citing trailer
park to embark on biological jihad – impregnating the villagers and
subsequently converting them to their religion.
In collaboration
with two other mission agencies, we are targeting one of the communities that
have become a central location in Benue State (name withheld), where they are
gaining ground. We have designated four of our missionaries from Northern Nigeria
(two males and two females) to engage them. We will be using a provision
supermarket as a front. They are currently involved in spiritual mapping.
Please, pray for wisdom and divine protection for the missionaries.
Home of Grace (HOG)
Four of our kids, Blessing, Elizabeth, Victor, and Samuel, are currently writing the West African
Examination Council (WAEC) examination and National Examination Council (NECO) examination. Two others, Timothy and Yakubu, are writing the Junior WAEC examination, while Sarah and Paul are writing Common Entrance examination into secondary school. This is another milestone, and we are grateful to God. We are also thankful to all our partners who made this possible.
The inflationary trend
in Nigeria has been quite challenging. The price of foodstuffs is soaring. Pray
along with us that God will continue to provide funds. He remains the father of
the fatherless. The first floor of the Home of Grace building has gotten to
roofing level. Rafter work is completed, but we trust God for the roofing sheet.
Some of the children had
health challenges, but they are getting over it. Rosa and Daniel had measles.
Rosa is well now. Daniel is recovering gradually. Blessing had typhoid and
Malaria. We are praying for quick recovery, especially since she is writing an
examination. Elizabeth had a severe toothache that resulted in surgery. In all,
we thank God for providing the fund for health care. All the other kids are
okay.
Appreciation/Prayer
Points
Please, thank God for
His divine protection and provisions on the following:
v God has continued to keep all our missionaries and
their families in the face of the increase in insecurities, especially
kidnapping. This has remained a huge miracle.
v How God provided for the roofing of the Babino, Benin
Republic church was amazing. God used just two persons.
v How God provided the fund for the Beru church building
project is mind-blowing. He used just an individual to singlehandedly provide
the fund.
v Thank God for constantly providing funds for foodstuffs
for the kids. Sometimes we almost get to running out of food, and God then
brings in supply through our partners.
v Ten more missionaries joined our staff team between
March and May 2022. We are grateful to God for the increase. Please, pray for
God's provision for their monthly upkeep allowance and fund to settle down.
Please, pray along with
us on the following:
v On a sad note, the wife of Evangelist Steve Rango, that
died recently, passed on in May. Please, pray that the Lord will comfort the
family.
v Wife of Moustapha Oumarou, Sister Josephine, has
relocated back to Nigeria with her son from the Niger Republic. Pray that the
Lord will provide all that she needs to settle down. She will be helping with the
Home of Grace kids for now.
v Pray that God
should continue to protect our missionaries and their families and all our
partners against all evil prevailing in the country today.
v Pray for all our converts on the mission fields and the
children at the Home of Grace that Christ be formed in them.
v Pray God's blessings on all our partners for all the
selfless sacrifices they make that keep on n the battlefront,
Finally, thank you for all you do to help us take the
gospel to the dark places of the earth. Thank you for helping us put smiles on
the faces of widows, orphans and other vulnerable kids. God bless you richly.
We appreciate you dearly.
