MARCH/APRIL 2022 MISSIONS UPDATE

Calvary greetings from Zarazong in Jesus' name and happy new month. The Lord who brought you to the month of April will keep and bless you. The past months have been very eventful despite the growing insecurities across Nigeria, West and Central Africa subregion where our missionaries work. Thank you for your prayers, financial, and every other support. God has been incredible to us in every area. He has consistently borne us in His wing, and we cannot thank Him enough.

Disciples Making Movement (DMM) Training

We had a successful DMM Training at our mission base in Zarazong with over 120persons in

attendance. Our Principal trainers were Rev. James Forline of Final Command and Pastor Mike Adegbile, the immediate Past Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Evangelical Missions Association (NEMA). The program was eye-opening and mind-blowing, and we all left with the determination to multiply the harvest through the DMM model. We agreed to use the existing structure to coordinate and report progress made and challenges to the leadership.

27th African Missions Summit (AMS 2022)

Medical team at the 37th African Missions Summit

Over 400 persons from five African Countries participated in the 27th African Missions Summit (AMS 2022) with the theme: The Shakings and the Nations. God visited us, and all the participants left strengthened to confront the multidimensional end time challenges. We had a free medical outreach during the summit, during which seasoned medical doctors and ophthalmologists gave missionaries medical care.

We are grateful to God for the mercies granted to all our delegates. We had no incidence of kidnapping or accident. Pray along with us that the summit's impact will remain indelible and advance His kingdom.

Missions Training

The School of Cross-Cultural Missions has graduated the 26th Batch after one full year of rugged
training. Only 13 of the 19 students in the Batch graduated. Some of those that could not graduate had issues with their character, and mental health challenges, and others needed to attend the mandatory DMM training and needed to be observed for a few more months.

Out of the 13students that graduated successfully, 10 of them have been offered a place in Grace Foundations, and the others returned to the ministry that sent them for training.

Batch 27 is in session even though only 13 out of the 22 students admitted were able to resume. Pray along with us for scholarships and grants to enable us to open our doors to more students. The more students we train, the more laborers are available to be employed in the mission fields in dire need.

Niger Republic Church Ready for Use, More Mission House Built in Kebbi State

The church at Ahole, Niger Republic, is ready for use. Inside, the church has been fully plastered and the flooring completed. The outside wall of the church has not been completed, but the church is ready for use while we trust God to complete the plastering as the Lord provides.

We have also completed a two-room apartment in one of the villages in Kebbi State (Name withheld for security reasons). In that part of the state, God has continued to grant us massive harvests of souls. The missionary recently posted from Benin Republic to head the work (Name withheld) also requested that we pray to God for funds to enable us to build a church at the location before the eruption of heavy persecution, which we anticipate in that area.

Conversion, Discipleship, and Security Challenges

Report from Fulanu field in Cameroon
The bottom line of all that we do is to win souls to Christ, especially from dark places of the earth
where Jesus is not known. God has been graciously adding to us a number of those that are saved, including people from challenging terrains.

Discipleship work is in progress in all our mission field. Please, pray that Christ be formed in the new believers. The security challenges have continued to increase. Pray for divine protection for both the converts, the missionaries, and the entire unreached people. The security issues have resulted in a shortage of food supply and inflation. Traveling is restricted, and missionaries working outside the countries are confronted with the problem of the exchange rate. They covet our prayers.

Home of Grace (HOG)

The Home of Grace (HOG) kids are doing fine. They just completed their second term examination and are warming up for the Easter celebration. Bringing up the kids is much more difficult now, especially with the teenagers and those above the teenage. While we are praying and doing all we can to help them, it is apparent that some of them may be released to give room to younger ones soon. Pray for grace and wisdom, especially for staff working directly with the children.

Conclusion

Thank you so much for all you are doing to help us enthrone the Lordship of Jesus in tough places. We pray to the Lord to bless you. We need you now more than ever. The Garbas have relocated to Salkam in the Niger Republic. Pray for God's help as they settle down to disciple the converts there and win more souls. We need funds to either build a mission house or rent a home. Maryam Joshua is conducting a survey among the diaspora Muslims at Ade-Igwu with the intent of leading a team to work among them. She covets our prayer. Josephine Oumorou has joined the team at Zarazong to help with the Home of Grace (HOG) and help field missionaries in distress. Please, pray for God's grace for the new assignment. Pray for all of us. We are praying for you always.

God bless you.

His bondservant,

Andrew Abah
