25th African Missions Summit/February 2020 Missions Update

Dearly Beloved,

I trust this letter will find you growing in grace. Firstly, I want to remind you of the forthcoming 25th African Missions Summit (AMS 2020) and secondly, we want to update you on what God has done through your partnership with us in taking the light to the dark places of the earth in the face of several odds.

AMS 2020
Preparation for the AMS 2020 is in top gear and we are ready to receive you in our mission base in Jos, Plateau State. We are expecting no fewer than 200 grassroots missionaries laboring in very hard regions. Some of them are no doubt coming to the venue very weary because of prevailing resistance by the heathen to stop the advance of the gospel at various levels. God has prepared seasoned ministers that will bring healing and encouragement to them. Models and insights that have helped some of our missionaries to advance in their various constituencies will be shared. The theme of the Summit is Unstoppable Advance…Our focus is to reassure ourselves irrespective of the prevailing circumstances that Jesus will build His church and the gate of hell shall never prevail.

Preparations have been put in place to make it easier for our targeted audience, the grassroots missionaries and other stakeholders to attend. There will be free feeding and accommodations. We are already issuing documents for our foreign delegates to obtain their visas. The visa on arrival for African delegates is a little complicated. We covet your prayers in all areas including finances. We will be highly encouraged if you can squeeze out time to be part of the 25th African Missions Summit.

Field Updates

God continues to bless us with more souls embracing Christ’s Lordship. From the various mission fields, we receive reports from our missionaries of the encounters that the natives are having at an individual level and at mass rally levels like the outreaches and camp meetings. At Bum. Over 30 persons surrendered their lives to Christ and at Samunaka, over 50 persons surrendered their lives to Christ.

Also, Project 1PM was launched on January 1, 2020, aimed at mobilizing every convert and older

believers in our various mission fields to ensure that they raise at least one convert per month and disciple them all through this year. That amounts to 12persons per person in 2020. Please, pray along with us that this soul-winning project will be successful and even exceed our target. 10 of the Believers were baptized at the Samunaka dam on January25, 2020.

The church building at the Oma mission field is in the process of being roofed now. The cost of roofing escalated with the current inflation in the country. We have paid for the woods which cost over N600,000. Pray along with us for fund for 35bundles of zinc, other accessories and N230,000 Carpenters workmanship. As part of our effort to maximize the labor of our missionaries, we got four brand new motorcycles for four separate fields. One for our Benin Republic mission field, another for the Niger Republic mission field, one for the Oma field and another for the Gurmawas.

Missions Training, Relief Work and Home of Grace (HOG).
Our students who have been serving in various fields for the past two months have resumed. The provisional admission list is out and some of the new students have resumed. Our kids at the Home of Grace are making progress. Jonathan Umoru resumed at the Bauchi State University while Salisu Chiroma was offered direct entry admission to the University of Jos. School fees for the little kids in Nursery and primary school fees have been fully paid. Blessing Garba has

enrolled for JAMB university examination. She was posted to a very dangerous place, Bokkos that is notorious for Fulani Militia killing as her examination center. Pray with us as we brave it

Others
Our Sister, Esther Anaja and friend, Joshua Kunde transited to glory in January 2020. Both of them have been very committed to the ministry at various levels. We will certainly miss them. Please, join us to pray for God to comfort every member of the family. Our missionary, Rabo Yakubu got married to Grace Harouna. Join us to thank the Lord for the success of the wedding.

Conclusively, thank you so much for your consistent partnership. We pray the Lord to bless you. We are sending a fresh team of missionaries to Libya border with the Niger Republic as well as Burkina Faso this year and covet your prayers for wisdom, direction, and resources as we pursue this new course. Some of the work may continue undercover for a while and so update will not be made public.
