Advocacy for Unreached People at Democratic Republic of Congo

Calvary greetings from Mabudi, a village beside the River Congo here in Democratic Republic of Congo in the name of Jesus. Thank you so much for your consistent selfless partnership over the years and particularly now that challenges are getting increasingly fiercer. We have continued to feel the warm of your prayers and inner strength when it seems things are not moving according to our desired speed. We have also experienc

e some good times in this work against every odds of the devil and we know so well that they are not unconnected with your input.

It has been a rare privilege to serve God in this part of the world for the fourth time since 2006. Each of the mission trips have been quite challenging and heavily resisted by the devil but in all, God caused us to triumph with indelible breakthrough that will eternally have bearing in the dark places of the earth. My third trip early this month was to the Katanga province. I was locked up for three days without any just course. So many of our Alumni(trained missionaries) who are highly placed in the society and our contact/planning committee of the Missions Fests in Lubumbashi  made effort to get me off the hook but were unsuccessful. God permitted it that I partook in the fellowship of His suffering. It was not comfortable but the grace of God was strong on my behalf.

This last trip has been very fruitful and hassle-free. As usual, our primary assignment here is advocacy. DRC is the most populous French speaking African countries and missionaries raised from here will make so much impact in the francophone countries worldwide. They also share boundary with nine needy nations of Africa and can readily help them. Together with my colleagues, Elsie Govender, Jean Beya and other members of the team in the country, we had very formidable missions’ conference tagged Missions Fests with 20churches in the city coming together to plan during which hundreds of participants volunteered to engage the remaining unreached people groups. We also took extensive preaching engagements in churches in Kinshasa city, projected Grace Foundations video documentaries on the Dark Places of the earth.

Pray with us that those who responded will be properly followed up until the fruit of the advocacy becomes tangible.
