We are delighted to report that the works in the francophone African countries are faring well. Our missionaries in Niger Republic are enjoying harvest from the Muslim world. They request for prayer for one of the recent hardened one from the Izala sect that has just embraced Christ. (For security reasons, we cannot provide details here).
An orphan teenage girl who was impregnated outside marriage was thrown away from the house. We have brought her in to show her the love of Christ. She has confessed Christ. Pray that Christ will be formed in her. This social concern is our way of communicating Christ wholistically. It is capital intensive. Please, pray along with us for fund especially for feeding and medical expenses. We also need fund for the reroofing of Ahole mission house. The rain is messing up the whole place.
Pray for Liman Danwauya and his wife coordinating the work from Tibiri, Issa Maliki and Rahila Maliki for their work at Kwalan-Gobirawa and the Boubacars for their labour at Ahole and the surrounding villages. Issa Maliki’s building that they moved in recently needs to be plastered urgently because of the rain. The wall is being washed down leading to crack.
The work in Chad requires fresh strategising. The missionary is currently in Nigeria for a retraining exercise as well as Chaplaincy training. It is hoped that the chaplaincy will serve as an attractive bait to bring souls to the Lord.
Our work in the North of Cameroon is taking shape despite the various challenges. Issa and Pauline are not getting enough fruit for the immense labour they are putting in but they are consistently seeking God for divine intervention.
