Radio Interview at Kwasizwabantu and Visit to Hindu Village, New Glasgow

Grace Foundation Inland Missions (GFIM) International Director recently granted a radio interview to the Kwasizwabantu radio station. During the interview, he spoke on various issues ranging from his sabbatical with MET, the work of GFIM and the state of missions in Africa.

The Director also granted the Rhodeport Rainbow radio station another twenty minute interview along with Rev. Yinka Laoye who was in South Africa to join in preparation for the summit . After the interview, SABC called them on phone to book another interview focusing on the South African Missions Summit. After two days study tour at the Kwasizwabantu mission's station, he proceeded to the Indian village of New Glasgow, close to Durban.

His words: "It was eye-opening to live with the Hindu people. Nirmala and her daughter Karishma hosted us. They were very loving and did all they could to make us comfortable. They have over 3.5million gods. Some of the gods are seated in their palour. They diligently give the gods banana, orange and other fruits. Unfortunately, these gods could not deliver them from the attacks of the devil. Not up to a year ago, a spirit that visits their home regularly in form of bush baby beat her husband to death while he was asleep. The spirit has continued to harass them even after claiming the life of the man. Some times, the spirit slaps the woman and pulls her hair. We prayed for them and for the two days we stayed with them, the spirit stayed off. We encouraged them to give their lives to Christ as that is the surest way to sustain their divine protection. They promised to look into it".
