Nigeria Missions: Zullawa Field Update

God touched one of the prominent figures among the Zullawas, Yohanna Zatuwa and he gave his life to Christ. Before his conversion, he was one of those that direct the masquerades in the village. He was also widely consulted for idolatry related activities all over the land before his conversion. His conversion opened door to several others as those who were hitherto fearful now indicate their interest to embrace Christ. Just recently, one of the women from the family gave her life to Christ. We can imagine the kind of jubilation going on in heaven over the conversion of the woman; one Ahmadu also gave his life to Christ again. Pray along with us that he should abandon his old way of life like smoking and drinking which has remained a big battle for him.

We are consistently following up the converts. Brother Habila and Joseph Yakub (two of our converts undergoing discipleship) are yielding pleasant fruit. Both of them are already following up other new converts. The general discipleship class is quite encouraging as God helps us to unveil His words in straight forward manner. In some cases we run into problem of unseriousness in the part of some converts, unavailability and polygamy.

We have an average of 50 persons who attend church services regularly. Pray that their lives will attract others. There is a renewed effort in the area of children evangelism. Several Bible clubs were opened and God through it has helped to get several children to embrace Christ.
