March 2016 Missions’ Update

Calvary greetings in Jesus name. We are grateful to you for your ceaseless prayer and financial partnership that has continued to grease our labor and produce needed result. Despite the stiff opposition from the pit of hell, the Lord continue to build His church even in the most unbelievable darkest region of the world.

Testimonies from across our mission fields and partnering/networking agencies have remained mind-blowing. Few days ago, we received report from our dear Sister Fatima(name changed for security reason) from the Middle East region. One of her relative who was earlier converted via gospel broadcast gave her a CD containing songs and Bible stories. She sluggishly accepted the gift. The Spirit of God stirred her spirit to listen to it after which she surrendered her life to Christ.  Since then, she managed to get a Bible and tuned in to a Christian channel on Television.  When her parent discovered it they removed the channel from their satellite receiver, confiscated her mobile phone and
Broadcasting the gospel at Araras radio station
ceased the Bible. She broke her courtship with her Muslim fiancé and decided to trust God for a Christian. Her parent gave her the worst beating of her life but her commitment to Christ remains unshaken. As at the time of this report, her parent has deported her to another closed nation in the Gulf region to stay with her uncle. She cannot be reached since her deportation. Pray that the light of the gospel will continue to stream through her. Pray that the gospel broadcast will continue to transform lives.

In Niger Republic, our missionaries have consistently been using the media to broadcast the gospel. The results have remained very encouraging. Pray that the doors will remain open. Pray for our partner organization ministering across the Middle East via the internet and satellite. We have a meeting at Cyprus to discuss the future of broadcasting in the Middle East. Pray along with us for insight, wisdom and accelerated speed for the harvest force.

More Motor Bikes
We have very limited number of missionaries. As a result, covering our targeted fields has continued
Ladi Ekpa on her new motorcycle
to remain huge challenge. The easiest means of maximizing the missionaries is to equip them with motorbike. God has in answer to our prayers continue to add to our number of bikes. For over a year, we trusted God for a motorbike for our missionary coordinating the mission fields in Bauchi State, North East of Nigeria. Two weeks ago, God blessed us with a brand new lady bike, strong enough to go through the rigor of the numerous jungles at the Bayara forest of Dir and the foot of Zaranda Mountain (among the Bolu and Zull people groups) as well as the new Zabulanci field.

Also, God blessed Simon Peter who will take over the Zabulanci field from Bulus Alaya and Moses Adebisi at the Zull field also with a bike each. Earlier, God provided a brand new bikes for Tibiri and Ahole fields in Niger Republic, Libentee and Kamberi field at Benin Republic, Chad, Kamberi and Dukawa in Niger State. We trust God that by the end of this year, five more missionaries would have being equipped with motorcycles. The motorbike in Bolu is so weak such that it requires immediate replacement. This will further certainly enhance the speed of the harvest force.

Grinding Machine for Dukawa Field
The reality of inadequate support for missionaries' upkeep is biting harder and harder. We have sadly experience missionary attrition as a result of the increasing difficult to adequately respond to needs. This is complicating the challenges of inadequate laborers. God is however at work. For two years, we prayed for a grinding machine for the Dukawa field that will serve three purposes: Meet the felt need of the Dukawas who before now trek many kilometers to access grinding machine, bridge the gap between the people and our missionaries for enhanced evangelization and also generate income for the upkeep of our missionaries. To the glory of God, the Missions Supporters Leagues (MSL) Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria was used of God to provide the bulk of the money. We added money and bought a grinding machine last week. Pray that it will serve the purpose meant for.
We had urged partners to pray that God provide funds to meet the need for block molding machines for our work in Zambia, clippers and other barbing saloon accessories, Sewing machines and deep freezers(for sales of ice water) for our work in Niger Republic but have not gotten any response yet. As we pray for God to help our missionaries to be maximally fruitful in their labor among the unreached people, we trust that when God provide these items, it will help to generate much needed resources for their family upkeep.

Building Projects' update
For the missionaries and their family to have rooms to lay their heads, we work towards having
Zabulanci Mission House - Needing windows, doors & plastering
mission houses of our own in all our mission fields. In pursuit of this, we began a four bedroom and two bedroom flats at Bolu and Zabulanci fields respectively. The Bolu project had lingered for many years because of the size and fund. We have completed the wall, lintel and post-lintel work. We have also completed the roofing aspect also. We fixed zinc on the door and window temporarily pending when God will provided resources to fix lasting doors and windows. We have also completed the roof of the Zabulanci mission house. We now need doors, windows, cement for flooring and plastering. We rely on you to join us in praying that this project will be fully completed soon.
Bolu Mission Station - Also need doors, windows & plastering
The mission house at Ahole is tearing apart. The mission arm of the Chapel of Goodnews bought it for us many years ago. To avoid its collapse on the missionaries and the Niger Republic Home of Grace, we have to begin a new work with cement block. We have sent N200, 000 to the missionaries to begin molding of blocks. With the terrible crash in our currency, we will require over N3millon to complete the projects.
There is tremendous progress in the church building project at Bum. The wall was plastered and flooring completed as a result of N180, 000 supports from MSL Jalingo Chapter. We are grateful to all our friends and partners that have helped us thus far. As we continue to engage more missionaries and pioneer new fields, we will continue to build more mission houses

Missions Training
We thank God for the increase in numbers of our School of Cross cultural Missions student. God is raising laborers from among the Fulanis, Mumuyes, Kamberis, etc. in such an unusual way. We appreciate Gospel Bankers for partnering with us to train six of the missionaries. One of our prospective missionary from Kenya is trusting God for funds to purchase her air ticket and six others are still trusting God to raise their fees. It cost N120,000 to train one missionary. We are looking for sponsors for the students that have no sponsorship. Do kindly join us in prayer for finances and also if God is laying it in your heart to sponsor any of them, we will certainly appreciate it and God will bless you.

Home of Grace (HOG)

The kids are doing very fine except Blessing who was hospitalized again. Sarah has registered for her Junior WAEC examination. Also, all the school fees were paid without stress. We appreciate all our partners whose donation made this possible. May the Lord richly bless you in return. Michael and Jecinta participated in inter-school quiz competition and made the school very proud as they came first.
21st African Missions Summit (AMS 2016)
The AMS 2016 will kick off exactly one week from now - March 9-13, 2016. We hope to be hosting mission leaders from no fewer than 10 African countries, United Kingdom and United States of America. Please, pray along that the purpose of the summit will be accomplished. Pray that God will provide all the fund needed to meet up with our budget and for journey mercies for all our delegates. It will be a great honour to have you grace this great event.

Thank you for being there for us always.
