October 2012 Mission pdate

Dearly beloved,

I bring you Calvary greeting from Paris, France from where I am transiting to Medford where God recently opened a new door to speak at a Missions Mobilisation Conference. We give God all praise and glory for the gift of life and opportunity to serve Him in the vineyard this month of October 2012. His grace has continue to help us to widen open doors for us to keep going, growing and glowing as we insists on dethroning the devil and enthroning Jesus as Lord over the dark nations that He has since bought with His blood.
muslimwoman.jpgThank you so much for your selfless partnership.  Many times, it looked like we were almost stranded but your timely inputs were divine interventions that God used to push us forward against all the increasing odds and oppositions. We are constantly grateful to God for blessing us with partners like you and lack adequate words to convey how deeply touched and grateful we are. We pray for you often that God will replenish your source and increase you more and more.
Text Box: A Muslim woman in the Middle EastJust yesterday, I met a top-shot from the Middle East with whom we spent over 6 hours together. She was an Executive Secretary in a leading firm and a wife to a Financial Controller in one of the countries highly devastated by the Arab Spring. The meeting was another eye-opening moment on how hungry Muslims are for God and the depth of opportunities involved in reaching them for Christ out of the shore of their lands. She has not fully confessed Christ yet but promised to worship with us in the Church I will be preaching at Medford. She fears that if she give her life to Christ, she will be killed. Prayers are needed for her and many in her shoes. Her name and country are withheld for security reasons.
Text Box: Response at one of Godwin's meetings in BahiaBahia.jpgIn our South America front, Godwin Ogwuche is making inroad to rural areas. He has just returned to his new base in Bahia from Sacobro, a land that has not experience rain since the past three years. No fewer than 10persons gave their lives to Christ in that outreach. Please, pray for several youths trapped in drug bondage across the land that God will bring them total deliverance.  He has successfully had a mission awakening seminar with very good response. Pray that the result will mature into fruition. Our ultimate goal is to raise men and women who will run with the missionary vision to several jungles in the land to dethrone Satan and enthrone Jesus as Lord.
The flood in Niger Republic is subsiding. Our new mission house in Bankulawa that was almost brought down by the flood has been rescued and is at the point of completion now. We praise God it survived the heavy rain. The National Director, Liman Danwauya has requested to spend some time at Peace House for retreat before returning to the field.  Ahole and Tibiri mission field are doing fine but the challenges of famine are severe. Help was provided but it was very meager.
Emily.jpgWe are still receiving testimonies from Zambia of the great things God did during our short missionary work there. We are also following up the gains of South African Mission Fest and we are receiving invitation to make input in Congo Brazzaville Missions Fest.  I am currently in Boston where I will be making presentations on the Readiness of the Harvest Field. The Life Assembly of God at Boston and Florida are giving us the opportunity to bring back emphasis on the need to return to God’s Heartbeat.
Text Box: Bishop Fred & Emily on field tripMy Personal Assistant, Emily Nhachi who has since returned to her home country, Zimbabwe to regularize her visa to enable her qualify for resident permit in Nigeria is due to return soon. We applied for expatriate quota for both her and Faith Shamma from Malawi but we are yet to get approval. Pray that God will step in urgently as need for qualified manpower at the international headquarters in Jos is getting more severe.
Faith Musa.jpgReports from all our local mission fields in Nigeria are mixture of God’s blessings on the work and fresh challenges. From the field, we received reports of multiple cases of healing, deliverance and salvation of souls. The Kamberi field leader, Sunday Musa and his wife Faith reported that some of the cases had defiled medical solution. A lady who was so sick and had emaciated very badly and had cried all night in severe pain was brought for prayers. She was ministered to and God intervened. She is fully healed now. There were other similar testimonies of the divine interventions. We give glory to God as we literally see them attracting many to the kingdom.
Niger-flood-300x188.jpgText Box: Figure 2 Faith Sunday - New Staff on Kamberi FieldJosephine and Moustapha Oumarou of Bolu field, Yohana and Rahila Musa from Lambo field, Barnabas and Fatima Haruna from Kubule as well as Nuhu and Sabatu Karambana from Dukawa fields  all reported that the Muslim are mounting substantive pressures on the convert on the fields. Some of the singles were enticed with free wives and the elderly ones with chieftancy positions. On a sad note, the Oumarous reported that one of our former convert at Bolu who backslided into becoming a Muslim by name Daniel died four weeks ago. At the point of his death, he was wishing he did not become a Muslim. Pray that all others who are under the pressures to become Muslims will see the reality and hold to Christ firmly.
Text Box: Flood in Niger StateThe new renovated church building at Dir was partly blown down by the rainstorm. The roofing was not properly done. Mary Ojile who is currently overseeing the field reported that fund is urgently needed to carry out repair so that the entire church will not collapse. Evangelism in Zull has been restricted due to the flood. Our missionaries, Ladi Ekpa and Bulus Inlaya reported that, attendance of Discipleship class and church service dropped sharply because all the small streams have become big rivers and only those who can swim very well can cross them now.
Stella Ella is still holding forth at Tasha-Durumi. She had secured a temporary accommodation. The converts are getting stronger but the number of people attending discipleship classes especially during weekly days is still not encouraging.
The kids at the Home of Grace (HOG) have resumed in school for the 2012 academic session. As usual, the cost of their return is huge. We are still trusting God for resources to pay up their fees and buy the required textbooks. Some of them have needs of school uniform and school bags. Little Victor is now in Crèche. Price of foodstuffs is on the rise especially beans. We foresee more inflation because cutting across different food because of the flood adverse effect and praying for fund to restock before it’s too late.  Please, join us in prayers that God will provide fund to put smile on the faces of these orphans and hitherto vulnerable kids.
Thank you for your part in helping to reach the people in the darkest part of the world. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your sacrificial financial input. Thank you for your moral support. Thank you for being there for us. Thank you for your partnership. We deeply appreciate and pray for you.
His bondservant,
