More Doors of Ministry at Niger Republic

God opened more doors of ministry for us at Tibiri, Niger Republic. A private radio station in the town gave us weekly preaching slots and responses to the gospel preached through that platform have been quite encouraging. We have had earlier privileges of preaching on radio stations at Dosso and sometimes on Television and the result have revealed enormous hunger for God in the land. There is also an ongoing weekly preaching at Doutchi Radio station.

The National Director, Liman Dan-wauya also reported that several outreaches were conducted in several places with the use of Jesus film. His words: seeds have thoroughly been sown. We now rely on your prayers for a mighty harvest. The Director also introduced sport evangelism as a means of establishing social inroad into the youths of the place

Our missionary at Kwala Gobirawa, Issa Maliki reported that they started a new work at Savian where God already blessed us with a new convert by name, Issa Tukuwa. Also as part of our ongoing partnership, the COCCN Church in Niger Republic and took time to teach the missionaries and the converts how to bake home bread. It was a great eye-opening.

The Gospel Bankers provided N100,000 to kick-start the Bankoula mission house. With the depreciation in the value of naira, additional N800,000 may be required to complete the project. A health worker in Niger, Hama Halirou blessed Issa Maliki with an old motorcycle which has been a great blessing to the work in Kwalan-Gobirawa.

The medical missions outfit at Ahole has helped minister salvation to many sick persons. Some of them with terminal diseases eventually passed on but with faith in Christ Jesus while others got healed and joined in proclaiming the word of God.

Famine is biting hard in the country. Our missionaries seek to be extension of God’s hands to help the converts with food and to show God’s love to the Muslims. Do kindly empower them with prayers, foodstuff and fund to help at such a critical time.
