Warren Buffet Provoking Story By Andrew Abah

Warm Calvary greetings in Jesus name. I am sorry for the delay in posting our latest missions update. It was partly because I was in the part of Middle East where releasing of ministry related information is dangerous and on leaving there, I left for Durban, South Africa to face the heat of the second Africa Missions Summit. It was concluded and after two days of waiting for my flight at Pretoria, I returned to speak at the Missions Supporters League National Conference, Jos; CMML Missions weekend at Ayangba and CEFN Conference at Dekina. The schedules were really tight but I remained mindful of the fact that I am responsible to provide an update of what God is using your prayers and finances to do in the nations through the Grace Foundation Inland Missions. Thank you so much for your patience and consistence support.

Just yesterday, a friend, Shirley Brownhill from Perth, Australia sent me a mail and shared a very provoking story of Warren Buffet which I will like to share with you before I proceed with my report. Warren is a very wealthy man who has donated $31 billion to charity. Having considerable means one would expect Mr. Buffet to be surrounded with everything money could buy, instead his life speaks of a man who has used his gift to benefit others.

Warren still lives in the same small three-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha, Nebraska, USA, that he bought after he was married – 50 years ago. He says he has everything he needs. Warren drives his own car and has no driver or security people around him. Although Warren owns the world’s largest private jet company, he himself never travels by private jet.

Warren does not socialize with high society and his relaxation time consists of popcorn in front of the television. Warren does not carry a cell phone and he does not have a computer on his desk. What a guy! Simple, pure, and integrous leadership. I am not too sure he is born again but his sacrifice is worthy of provocation. Pray that the body of Christ will sacrifice for missions which I believe is a better course.
