Southern Africa Missions Summit Report

The African Missions Summit at Durban, South Africa has come and gone. It was a huge success. We had delegates from Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC), Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, etc. Several organisations and many individuals were there for the first time.

We experienced incredible time of sharing and praying, as many people thanked God for what He did in their new relationship. One of the precious moments was the side meetings (Koinonia) which is the real “meet” of the Summit and we are happy that many delegates walked away fulfilled.

We appreciate all the delegates for their willingness to shift from one hotel to another, laugh at our mistakes, cry at reports, pray with determination, and share in the heart of God for Africa. We are extremely grateful to our host, Rev. John Ramasay and his team for their excellent and selfless sacrifices. The venue was superb. The transport shuttle to and fro the airport was great. The meals prepared and served were of international quality. The administration was unbeatable.

We are also grateful to the Directors of Missions Exposure and Training(MET), Rev.& Mrs. Gerald Golbeck. Their servant leadership style is worthy of emmulatioj. They helped in so many ways including providing transportation services valued at over $1000.
