Work in Niger Republic fields is progressing. At the Gobirawa mission station, a hut has been completed for the missionary couple, Issa and Rahila Maliki. The place is relatively better than the grass hut they were occupying. They are committed to children Bible club, house to house evangelism, discipleship and literacy program and we are glad that the response is favourble.
At Ahole, the medical mission led by Blessing Boubacar is making tremendous impact especially this raining season that sicknesses are on the increase. A lot of sick people leave the Government Clinic to come to the mission house for treatment and some of the treatments including drugs are given free of charge. Pray that God will breathe on this effort to cause the beneficiaries to give their lives to Jesus. They got 30,000CFA from the treatment last quarter and invested everything in buying more drugs. God has blessed us with some Muslim converts, who are currently secret disciples. Pray that God will strengthen their faith.
At Bankula mission station, we lost one of our converts, Leatou Saley. The missionaries did all their best humanly possible to save her but unfortunately she still passed on.
At Tibiri the missionaries continue to build relationship with the Muslim youths. Some of those who are responding very well like Ishaya, passed his examination and will be relocated from Tibiri for University education while Nagode is been transferred to Douchi. Pray for Moussa, Nourou and Aicha who live very close to the mission house and have been talked to several times and shown the love of God. They now realize that Jesus is the way, but we need prayers for them to boldly decide for the Lord.
We are reopening the chapter of preaching on radio since we have found it very effective and also help existing churches. We still strongly need at least a motorcycle that will facilitate the work on the field. Pray that God will make a way for us.
The National Director, Liman Danwauya plan to wed Aishatou on December 20, 2008. Please support them both with prayers and fund. You are also invited to be part of the wedding.
