Mr. Lengede Irimiya was one of our early converts and generously gave us a land to build a church. He also contributed immensely towards the building of the church.
Last year, the Muslims promised to make him the traditional ruler of the village, if he agrees to become a Muslim. Surprisingly, he gave up his Christian faith. We have continue to love and pray for him, but his response has been hostile. He insisted that we should no longer use the church building for our worship and the Muslim rulers at the district level are strongly behind him. To avoid crisis, we have relocated and God has continued to encourage the work by causing more people to give their lives to Christ.
The missionary, Yohanna Musa has pleaded for support to enable him erect another church as soon as the raining season is over. At least N400,000 is needed for a medium size church that they can use for now.
