Home Mission Director of GFIM, Lucy Abah was diagnosed to have cancer of the breast early this year. After removing the breast, further test revealed that the cancer had spread to the arm pit. It was death sentence but prayers were raised to God from virtually every part of the world for her.
Plan to take Lucy to United Kingdom for further medical check up did not work out as the least cost received from the hospitals there is 12000pounds. The money was not affordable. We resorted to prayer trusting that God of heaven will heal her.
On hearing this, the MET Directors, Rev. and Mrs. Gerald Golbeck invited her for a medical check up at one of the best hospitals in South Africa in oncology, the Little Company of Mary Hospital. Several medical tests were conducted for her and the result revealed that there is no more trace of cancer in her body. They paid for the entire medical bill. We thank God for this great miracle. Thank you for all your prayers and we specially thank the Golbecks for their sacrificial love for us.
We particularly register our deepest appreciation to Pastor Joseph Egwuda and General Onoja who stood by us as fathers during these trying times. We are grateful to Rev. Gloria Davies for input in the area of food supplement and teaching us how to use fruit and vegetable to combat the spread of cancer.
